About Miles
Hi, I'm Miles, a singer-songwriter from Ames, Iowa, on a journey to make music that you will really enjoy. My sound? It’s somewhere between folk and pop rock—someone once called it “acoustic pop with a kiss of country,” and I liked that so much I kept it!
I've got a wonderful wife who sometimes adds her beautiful voice to my songs (if I ask nicely), and we're raising three amazing kids.
I love performing across genres, so you might catch me singing the national anthem at an Iowa Cubs game, performing with the Ames Municipal Band, or belting out classics from the ‘50s, ‘60s, and ‘70s at assisted living facilities. And, if you ever need live music for your wedding, rehearsal dinner, farmers market, restaurant, or any other special occasion, I’d love to chat! I even do Zoom performances if that’s your thing.
